our 6-year-old daughter is very mature for her age. In the past, she asked, meaning "sex", and we gave her a statement that there is another way of identifying a gender, as in male or female. She took them about two years ago, when she had asked. Yesterday in the car, she asked again, and was extremelyervous and aware to ask what was and if it was bad.
